The Quilt Square Packs
Each person participating in this
project needs to get one Quilt Square Pack, which includes
several components that are intended to make designing
and decorating the fabric square a breeze, even for your
artistically-challenged guests.

A paper template with a
suggested design (preselected
by you) offered as a less
intimidating starting point for

lives". They may trace and color
the design "as is" or use it as a

Practice Fabric
A small piece of the Faux-Silk
fabric, otherwise known as "the
anxiety pad", letting your guests
experiment with the markers and
get a feel for the process before
they actually color on the Fabric
Square itself.

A 10" x 10" Faux-Silk fabric
square, marked with a 7.5" x
7.5" image area in its center.

The Marvy� Fabric Markers
(Included with Complete Huppah Quilt Kit only)
Three broad- and two fine-point fabric markers are shipped with each Quilt Square. These
markers are made with professional-quality, permanent, acid free, and nontoxic dyes for highest
quality results. When used together in a large group setting, your guests can
share all 24 rich, vibrant colors. If you are sending out a lot of
individual Packs, you might consider: (a) ordering additional markers or (b) if time permits, sending
out only half of the Quilt Square Packs at a time so you can provide
each person/family with a greater selection of marker colors. Then simply wait
for the markers and completed squares to be returned before sending out the remaining
Quilt Square Packs.

The Magic Sizing
Prior to distributing the Quilt
Square Packs to your guests, you’ll need to first
spray the fabrics with Magic Sizing and iron at silk
setting (low). Why? Because it does magic!
|

Magic Sizing
When coloring with Fabric
Markers, colors naturally bleed
into the fabric, blending together
for a blurry look. Pretreating the
fabric with Magic Sizing seals the
fabric pores to prevent bleeding.
The result is a crisper-looking
design.

Assembly and Finishing
This is probably the part you’ll love the best because
you don’t even have to thread a needle to complete
this special work of art.

The Quilt Chart & Labels
Once you�ve collected all the
decorated squares from your
guests, we ask that you arrange
them to your liking using the
Numbered Labels according to
the Quilt Chart. Then send the
labeled fabric squares to us and
we�ll do the rest!
