Quilt Size
There are five standard quilt sizes available plus the option to
custom-size your quilt to meet your needs. Which size is right for you?
First consider the number of guests that will participate in making of
the quilt as well as the number of people who will be standing with you
under the Huppah (youll need about 9-12 squares per person). Then, take
into account how your Huppah will be hung.
If you are simply attaching the
quilt to four poles that are held by attendants, any size will work. However,
if you are using an existing canopy structure--provided by a florist or your
synagogue--you will need to first confirm the exact dimensions of the structure
before determining size.

Hanging Methods
Choose from two different hanging methods: each offers an easy way
to hang the quilt during the wedding ceremony and a simple
way to beautifully display it afterwards.
Ribbon Corners
with Hidden Sleeves Style
This style uses two satin ribbons (one-foot-long each) sewn into each of
the four corners, for use with poles or an existing freestanding canopy structure. The two hidden
sleeves that are sewn along the opposite edges of the quilt allow insertion
of dowels to keep the quilt leveled during the ceremony. After the wedding, the quilt can
be hung at your home by simply inserting dowels through the hidden sleeves
and anchoring it to the wall.

Ribbon Loops Style
If you are planning to build a freestanding structure for
your Huppah Quilt, this style provides you with a row
of attractive ribbon loops on two sides of the quilt,
ready to be slipped over two opposing pipes of the
structure. After the wedding ceremony, simply insert
decorative rods through the loops and secure them to
the wall.

Photo Squares
The latest imaging technology now enables us to embed photographic images onto delicate fabrics using high quality dye sublimation printing. Unlike outdated transfer processes-which distorts and deteriorates the image over time-this process accurately embeds fine archival quality inks into the fabric, making it ideal for textile heirlooms.
Photo Quilt
To create a Huppah Quilt made
entirely of photographic images, simply
select the Photo Quilt option in the Order
Form and mail us either the photo prints
or high resolution digital photo files
along with placement instructions.

Individual Photo Squares
To transfer images to some of the quilt squares,
follow instructions on your Blank Paper Template and
send photographs as instructed for an additional $25
fee per square.
